Graphic Design Brief

Vertical Giants is a brand that markets to thrill seekers and vertical enthusiasts. Examples range from Rock climbers, to mountain bikers, skateboarders, water skiers, jeeps driving up steep mountains, baseball players hitting high home runs, basketball players dunking a basketball, hang-gliding and virtually any concept which participants and entertainers enjoy "going vertical". The objective of this request is to develop a mascot that will be the face of the brand. My initial concept is a Yeti or Abominable Snowman that will participate in all the activities. i.e. The Yeti driving a Jeep up the mountain. The Yeti getting major air wakeboarding. The Yeti hitting a baseball to the moon. The Yeti "Going Vertical". Each of these examples will be a different project, as the focus of this project is to create the best looking mascot for the company. I encourage images other than the Yeti, but I will be looking for plenty of Yeti images as it seems to be a good fit.

Requirements

Must have

• The target audience is thrill seekers looking to have a GREAT time. My vision is something like a "Tony the Tiger" from Frosted Flakes or "Chester the Cheetah" from Cheetos. I am nor suggesting those, but their personalities. I would think of a more muscular figure than Tony, but another animal. Gorillas, big cats, bears......
• I am not good at drawing, hence I need help, but I have attached a sample concept that I prepared. Again, I am not good at drawing so the physique is not one that depict.
• This mascot will act in a variety of sports so the body is important to show more than any activities.

Nice to have

• There we be a female version of this too

Should not have

• Does not need to say vertical giants. See examples. The mascot will wear shirt with the company logos.
