Web Design Brief
We have a product called nGage.
It is a browser based touch screen application for the apartment leasing industry . You can read more about it at http://ngage.mindspaninc.com.

We have a need to give a new look and feel to the application. The redesign is NOT to be limited to colors and shapes, but an overhaul of the screen layout, color, font scheme to make the application flow nice and smooth. The content of the pages will remain the same.
There will be animations but that can be done by our IT team, if described in concept by the designer.
Again to reiterate, all things are up for grab, do not get influenced by the images, shapes and color used currently.

Reason: None of the design are coming even close to what I am asking for. Please see the homepage of the application at http://www.mindspaninc.com/ngage/images/img-screenshot-lg-01.jpg. That is what I am asking for as the first page to show the design idea.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: At least the last couple of designs submitted understands it is a touch screen and the home page is not a web site home page.
The reason I am still not able to select a design is that the quality of graphic design elements is sub par. For example, The treatment to the options for example are not sharp and up to mark.

Must have
- - Must have a design where the content, like name of the property, menu options and pictures, are dynamic. So for example, do not restrict the design in a manner that we cannot switch off an option without redesign of the page.
- Good use of icons for options
- Gives the user a calm and serene feeling while maintaining a crisp modern user interface
Nice to have
- - Design in a manner that the background can be a custom image for a specific client
- Description of animation on the screen where the images selected by the client can rotate/slide/appear/animate
Should not have
- - Boxy design
- Small options that cannot be touched by fingers
- dont plan on hover animations, will not work in touch
