Logo Design Brief
1. WHO I AM
I teach Spanish as a foreign language in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My lessons are normally one-on-one, based on a NATURAL, HUMANISTIC APPROACH that is highly PERSONALIZED, STRESS-FREE, INTERACTIVE and INFORMAL.
***Capital letters above reflect the ideas that the logo needs to convey.***
I do not want to be perceived as overly serious or as a big company. It's a one-man show and I want people to perceive it that way
2. MY CUSTOMERS
My students are either 60+ year-old tango dancers or 25- to 35-year olds. Most of them are travelling through Latin America and consider their trip an adventure.
3. THE BRAND NAME
The brand name "The Spanish Leap" speaks the brand's promise to take learners on a learning journey that is one step above the competition, and also to take them to the next level on their language learning journey.
4. INSPIRATION BOARD
I created this board for my own inspiration - please view it before submitting your proposal. https://padlet.com/pemartelli/zc4lfd2tvzs2
5. DESIGN ELEMENTS
Please do not submit logos where a dialogue bubble is the MAIN design element; most of my competitors do this. A dialogue bubble is OK to use if it's not the main design element or if it has been used creatively to convey the ideas in CAPS above
Target Market(s)
My students are either 60+ year-old tango dancers or 25- to 35-year olds. Most of them are travelling through Latin America and consider their trip an adventure. They have had some experience learning Spanish before, but need personalized help, someone that can work around their schedule and personal preferences.

Requirements
Must have
- The logo must convey the ideas below either through color palette or design elements:
- a NATURAL, HUMANISTIC APPROACH to language teaching.
- PERSONALIZED teaching and teaching materials,
- STRESS-FREE
- INTERACTIVE, INFORMAL teaching style.
Nice to have
- 1. The color palette should convey: LEARNING. CALM. PROGRESS.
- 2. See some ideas here but don't feel constrained by these elements.

Should not have
- 1. If you decide to use HANDS as part of your proposal, please ensure they look like someone is TAKING A LEAP with someone else REACHING OUT TO HELP. I do not want to logo to be perceived as a charity. A handshake is also not appropriate.
- 2. Please do not submit logos where a dialogue bubble is the MAIN design element; most of my competitors do this. A dialogue bubble is OK to use if it's not the main design element. If you find a creative way to do this, it might actually be a good idea.
- 3. I teach Argentinian Spanish so please avoid the colors of the Spanish flag.
- 4. I do not want to be perceived as a "serious company" - rather as an individual who provides custom, personalized teaching services. Avoid logos that look too serious.
