CD Cover Design Brief

I need a CD cover design that includes my image but is more creative than just an image on a cover. Possible themes are "phase of the moon", the human tendency to want to make time stop so we can stay in a beautiful moment, or desire and human relationships. I am including a few possible photos that can be integrated into the design. You can feel free to do something that's a little off the wall or unexpected or to alter an image as needed. I'll base the title of the album off the design or possible self-title the album.

Target Market(s)

Music fans who like funky, rock and soul-based music. Established fan base of other musicians as well as blues and soul fans. 40% women, 60% men. Average age is 40-60.

Requirements

Must have

• My photo somewhere in the design and a creative element that is a little unexpected. For example, I don't just want the usual photo of musician with title. I'm looking for something unexpected that speaks to the nature of desire and our tendency to want to make time stand still. Phase of the moon could also be used as a theme if it's not too cliche'.

Nice to have

• I'm really open. I just want something a bit unexpected - not the same old boring album cover with an image and title.

Should not have

• any cliche' themes that look like they've been done a million times. I'm hoping for a fresh idea.
