Logo Design Brief
We at Tailys sell high quality dog and cat products. Our logo should include at least one, preferably 2 tails. I would like the 2 tails to be "hugging"/wagging around the name "Tailys" creating a circle around the name. Our costumers are well informed, caring pet owners with one or several pets. We sell/deliver mostly to sweden but might expand in the future. We like colours that bring the thought to pets and the outdoors. The logo should work in both colour and black and white. The logo will be used both on screens/on the website and social media and on printed material such as buissnies cards and clothes.
Final design should communicate warmth, happiness, family, caring, love, professionality and future.
Updates
Note to all designers: I do not want any designs where the dogs are facing butt-to-butt or entangeling tails as that's the position called "the hanging" and as is a position after two dogs are mating.

Requirements
Must have
- The logo must have the name "Tailys" well presented and easy to read. Must have at least one tail, preferably 2 tails - one thicker cat tail with long fur, and 1 dog tail with thick or smooth fur. The tails should signify happiness, playfulness.
- Must work in both black and white and in colour. Must work in smaller sizes such as buissnies cards and when looking at the website on a mobile phone.
Nice to have
- Would be nice if the logo was round, with 2 tails "hugging" or wagging aorund the name in the middle. Would be nice if there was a diversity between the tails so that it's including both thick and smooth fur, both cats and dogs, small and large dogs and cats. In one way or another signify that we offer a wide range of sizes in out shop. It's okay if you like several tails, perhaps 3 or 4, as long as the logo doesn't look to cluttered.
Should not have
- My project should not look too childish or be too similar to other known logos in the dog/cat industry. The tails should not look as if they are sleeping. Think hug or happy, wagging tails - not sleep. The tails need to start somewhere, not just be a line. Perhaps create a circle around everything from where the tails come out of?
- No sex positions! Dogs stand butt-to-butt when they are mating so I don't want anything where the dogs are entangling their tails butt-to-butt. Thank you!
