Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a classic car website. I recently purchased this site that is the go to site for obtaining detailed information related to the Chevrolet Chevelle. This site already attracts approx. 50,000 site visits per month but sadly has never had any type of branding. The Chevelle (as we know it) was produced from 1964 to 1972 and is considered one of the most iconic muscle cars of the '60's. The target market for my site is males ranging in age 35-70. The logo should be clean and easily implemented in print and possibly clothing (shirts and hats). It could possibly take styling cues from the Chevelle logo's that I have included that were actually used on the cars through the years... but not necessary.
