Logo Design Brief

Overview:
-
Project is for an original design for the app icon for an iPhone trivia game app.

We're looking for the input from the creative crowd design community to put their spin on the app icon and define a unique identity for the app thru a cool design.

Some key themes that can be used as creative inspiration for the iconic design are:

- trivia (the category of the game)
- time (it's a time limited question response game; countdown timer)
- tag line is 'worlds of useless information' (world, galaxy, planets, etc)

Color scheme for the app is orange, brown, yellow. Examples of the background and colors used are attached.

Nearly all app icons do NOT have text or other words within them ... and Apple recommends you not design the icon w/ text. As such ... capturing the overall identity of the application is left to the imagery (hence it being 'iconic).

There are a variety of icon image resolutions required for the iPhone, iPad, both regular and 'Retina' interfaces. These include:

- 60x60 and 120x120, 57x57 and 114x114 (iPhone)
- 72x72 and 144x144, 76x76 and 152x152 (iPad)
- 512x512 and 1024x1024 (other)

Please consider the following when implementing your design:
-
- Submission of app icon require both 512 and 1024 dimensions, and displayed in 57 (114), 60 (120), 72 (144), and 76 (152) dimension. (see specs above)
- Please adhere to appropriate color choices for icon to match that of the app's color scheme.
- All design ideas have the potential for selection ... but simple, abstract, yet intuitive treatments that speak to the core simplicity of the trivia game model (play game, limited time, lots of useless info) might provide an edge.
- We'd like to see a design treatment for the overall concept, and expect a photoshop file, and .png files w/ the defined dimensions as deliverables.

Do not include:

- Any design involving the use of a question mark.
