Menu Design Brief
We have an existing restaurant brand called "Kitchen Story" in L.A.'s Sawtelle Neighborhood (Little Osaka) and need our print menu re-designed. The design would consist of menu item names in English and Korean, descriptions, prices, some food photography and possibly other design elements at the designer's discretion. Sawtelle is a cultural hub packed with Asian style restaurants that cater to a younger, moderately affluent crowd.
The menu will be printed at 8.5"x11" but we'd like the option to print full bleed so please extend the background art, if any, beyond 8.5x11 but keep text within a safe area suitable for standard no bleed printing. We are open to horizontal 11" x 8.5" designs as well.
We're open to different colors other than the baby blue currently used in the attached logo but it should be noted that most of the restaurants on the same strip use primarily black and red in their logos and signage.

Delivery as Adobe Indesign would be ideal though we're open to a well organized Adobe Illustrator file. The text must be editable in case we change the menu items and prices.
