Logo Design Brief

Our club needs a new logo! The Hovercraft Club of America has been using the same logo since the 80's. We have had a difficult time drawing in younger members. We are concerned that our severely outdated logo is not a good first impression. We want a modern looking logo that is simple for easy branding on t-shirts, vinyl stickers, promotional gear. It will also be used on our website, social media, and promotional posters for our events. Universal hovercraft has a somewhat iconic logo in the sport because it is a popular brand, simple, and looks great. We would like the Hoverclub of America's logo to be the new iconic image for the sport because it is brand agnostic and represents the entire community.

Target Market(s)

the average age of our members is around 40, but we need a logo that is more appealing to a younger demographic. most people who join the club are interested in engineering, automotive, aerospace type hobbies. the club is mostly male, but we want the logo to appeal to our wives as well.
