Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new business named 'ID Gift Promotions'. The business prints onto various mediums such as t-shirts, lanyards, drink bottles, mugs, usb sticks etc and provides promotional packs for conferences and events along with personalised giftware. I also use a laser engraver for personalisation of products such as wooden wine and pen boxes, breadboards, cheeseboards and wedding favours. The use of ID in the business name references to the word 'identification' to communicate that the products printed will show your 'ID' for the business, event etc. I would like to see some modern concepts and designs, incorporating modern colours (open to suggestions with colours at this stage).
