There are many questions about this project, like what is the size of the illustrations or pages or who is the book for? Children, teenagers, adults? And when you mention a library castle do you mean an outside image of a castle that visibly is also a library?

The size of illustrations will be 1/8 - 1/10 Page.
The Book ist for adults possible teenagers.
The library Castle can look like a castle and fortress. The library Castle can look like a castle and fortress. A library does not have to be recognizable, it is in the context of the story and explain itself.

So I suppose the letter illustrations you request are inicial letters.
If you have any references such as images or a piece of text from the book that you could post we would most certainly appreciate.
One more thing, do you need these pieces in black and white or may colours be used?

The letters are not inserted as an initial. Black and white is okay, also applies to the Castle, trial texts I will not provide because the task should be clear.

I'm writing the book right now and I want to illustrate it. Important are the humanized letters with their characters

Hi i think if you can provide us with the images or illustration style you think match your book as reference material it will be good and help us save lot of time to figure the illustration style, and focus more on the character and the castle

The pictures should complement a text and stimulate the Imagination and the letters take on human characteristics. The castle will appear only once at the beginning of the book and should reflect great history. The letters may like to have strong serifs and also the impression of a long history.
