Web Design Brief

I have an existing ebay store design that I would like to move off ebay and turn into an ecommerce website. The goal for this project is to take the existing design and create a new website HOME PAGE ONLY. After I have the home page design, I will most likely work with the designer to create the additional website pages for the store, but no additional pages are required for this contest, and no coding is requested as part of this project.

The design files for the existing ebay store design are included below. If you need anything else let me know. The instructions are to use the existing design theme and elements to create a new ecommerce website HOME PAGE. This will not be a straight 1 to 1 conversion, I am looking for a new design based off the existing theme. Graphic elements from the existing ebay store design can be used, or new graphic elements can be created to better fit the theme. This current ebay store design has a high degree of graphic detail, and this same level of detail should exist in the new website home page. The same background should be used and the color scheme should not be changed.

Page should be a maximum width of 1200px, and I would like the design to be responsive.

This website will be a mixed ecommerce site that promotes both products and services. The home page will not be entirely dedicated to ecommerce. A large portion of the top section, below the header, will be reserved for promotion boxes or information. I would like a scrolling bar with the manufacturer logos from the "products we sell" page somewhere near the top half of the page. The bottom half of the home page will be used to display a few items or categories. I am open to ideas so don't be afraid to be creative.

This is similar to what I'm looking for in that most of the page is dedicated to promotion boxes, with only 1 row of items displayed on the home page. Overall I think the page and promotion boxes are too big and I do not want my site to look like this.
