Logo Design Brief

looking for a logo for a new artisan coffee house and gallery. It is based in Colorado, all organic, artsy, homegrown, down to earth feeling The name of the cafe is called Gathering Grounds with a sub text of Coffee House & Eatery. The idea is it is a place to meet people, relax, read books, look at art, Music events at night, cooking classes during the day etc.

It is important to me that the words and brandmark can be used independently of each other but also together. I plan on printing some t-shirts, cups and bags in the near future, so the logo's should be suitable for that and also slightly fashionable.
