Logo Design Brief

I am employed by an Oil company in Alaska. I need a logo design for a new team that is implementing a program called Operations Process Qualification (we use the acronym OPQ). We train employees to work in Oil and Gas processing facilities. I have uploaded color pallet containing colors that may be used in the logo. I would like a combination of two or three colors from the pallet to go into the logo. Three themes to our team are Alaska, Training, Oil & Gas. There are two sides to the Oil & Gas theme; worker, and corporate that would be nice to blend.

Must have

• Colors must be chosen from the attached file "Supporting Colour Pallet". Recommend the logo contain two or three of the available colours.
• Color pallet includes "PANTONE 336 CMYK 95/0/62/40", "PANTONE 382 CMYK 23/0/100/0", "PANTONE 661 CMYK 100/70/0/5", "PANTONE 877", "PANTONE COOL GRAY 5", "PANTONE COOL GRAY 11", "PANTONE BLACK 6", "PANTONE 021 CMYK 0/65/100/0", "PANTONE 130 CMYK 0/30/100/0", "PANTONE 527 CMYK 65/95/0/0"

Nice to have

• I like the idea of a two or three colour combination.
• The border of Alaska is cool - maybe half a border would be cool, like the Western half (top to bottom) or the entire SE, SW, W, and North border (excluding the Eastern border)? *Caution, that much of the Alaskan border might be too much so I don't want to be too heavy on the Alaskan theme, but just a touch could be really cool.
• Typical oil field equipment includes pipelines, pumps, compressors, wells, separation vessels, and a flare.
• Must have a strong corporate feel but also something relatable to workers. It needs to be cool, something that has sleek enough of an appearance to be happy wearing it around town, and also professional enough to be used as a corporate letter head.
