Icon Design Brief

We need some icons (will be used in simple buttons) designed for our web application that is used by teachers to communicate with students and parents.
Our target market is elementary school.

We are trying to keep our web page design clean by using a single color than can be changed. For this reason, we require the icons to be black and white. The icons will be approximately 60 x 60 pixels on screen, but we will require them in Illustrator format so we can generate images at various sizes.

We could easily just go out and find individual icons that fit the list below, but it is critical that all of these icons have a coherent look and feel.

We require the following icons:
- Class News (this links to general news for the class)
- Events (upcoming events, a calendar style icon would work)
- Homework (shows homework for the student)
- Learning Resources (shows links to online learning apps)
- Work Samples (shows pictures of thinks the student has done, e.g. writing, painting etc.)
- All Activity (shows a "feed" style view like instagram or Facebook)
