Logo Design Brief

We are an engineering services company that, despite being four years old, has no logo. We are primarily geared towards providing arc flash and coordination studies for power equipment. The former advises those working on the equipment regarding the safety precautions which are necessary, while the latter insures that the power equipment works in the proper fashion and, if a breaker should trip, it minimizes overall disruption.

Our customers vary from factory maintenance and small contractors to hospital administrators, large facility owners, and corporations. Our logo needs to reflect that.

It can be simple and abstract (bold strokes), so it will be easy to recognize and duplicate on reduced sized printings. Also, would like something that would look good in both color and black/white.
