Logo Design Brief
We are a herbal web store based in Manitoba, Canada. Our products include essential oils, tinctures, soaps, herbs and tea. Ideally, the logo should portray luxury, power, health and be as simple as possible. I am open to both a standalone logo, and a logo that can combine/separate with it's text. The logo should have a lion in a deep ruby red color, and be prepared against a black/very dark background. Although a lion is a very masculine feature, I'm not looking for a roaring or aggressive lion, but something more admirable and calm. The font should look modern, straight edged and simple.

- The project must have a lion, in a deep ruby red color (something close to #a90202. Would like to receive vector format. (illustrator file would be optimal)
Nice to have
- Maybe incorporate a herb in a creative way (i.e. a herb in the lion's mouth)
- Maybe incorporate the lion into the text in a creative way.
Should not have
- Not prepared against a light background, as the website has a dark gray background. Although a lion is a very masculine feature, I don't want a roaring or aggressive lion, but something more admirable and calm.
