Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my law firm. I am based in Toronto, Canada and primarily practice in real estate law, though the area of law is not very important. My clients are young (30-45 years old) urban professionals, many are first time home buyers, and are based downtown (where my office is). The final design should communicate "modern", "reliable/trustworthy", and speak to my target clientele. The design will also be extended to business cards, letterhead/stationary, and a website.
