Logo Design Brief
Our new Coffee, Wine and Tapas Bar is named TRIO. We are focusing on Coffee, Lunch, Wine and Tapas with the theme of Three...Wine flight Trio, Salad Trio, you get the idea. There are also 3 partners and we are all Christians and Christian symbolism is important to us. Our tag line is, "Because 3 is better than 1". That goes for food, drink and references Ecclesiastes 4:12, "A threefold cord is not easily broken."
We would like a simple, sophisticated and meaningful logo to brand us. The logo will need to be clear and easy to make into a large metal sign. As well for shirts, napkins, business cards etc...
Below is an idea one partner had...it is not the right design, but I wanted to share how the logo looks with the dot.

Must have
- My project must have a logo that can easily be used in signage. It must be clean, sophisticated and modern.
- Our color theme for the interior is black, white, light grey, with gold and chrome metal accents and pops of deep blue velvet and a little turquoise.
Nice to have
- It might be nice to see the tag line "Because 3 is better than 1" on a few options.
- Symbols we like: Crowns, Horses, Arrows, Trinity Symbol (but not too Celtic looking), Birds, Crosses (but not wanting to look like a church or too religious), open to other ideas
Should not have
- It should not look "Mom & Pop" or too busy or cartoonish.
