Hi guys, we've seen some cool designs and the more subtle Australian references are the ones we're leaning toward.

To give everyone insight into what we think is working the best:
1) Simple modern font in the style of Helvetica, Berlin, Futura, FF Din, or Proxima Nova
2) subtle imagery - nothing loud, and incorporated into the textual part of the logo. A couple ideas we've been playing around with:
a) the southern cross, as pixels (subtle digital imagery representing aus)
b) an allusion to a sea shore
3) We haven't liked any designs that are busy with lots of lines or shapes
4) We generally prefer 2 colors or less, (with one or two exceptions that take more of a multi-color approach). Colors we like are dark blue, turquoise, greens, and shades of blacks
