Logo Design Brief

I need a logotype for my website/photography project, Fimbul photography. I am an amateur photographer from Sweden (living in Switzerland) who tries to capture beautiful landscapes or street scenes. I want the logo to be simple but with an understated elegance.

Fimbul is a ancient nordic prefix meaning "great (and terrible)". It is most commonly associated with the "fimbul" winter from norse mythology, which gives the term a feeling of both beauty (a winter landscape) and power (brute force of nature). I selected the moniker because I want to convey my Scandinavian roots (and inspiration) as well as my passion for nature. Capturing any of these associations in the logo would be nice!
