Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new start up company in the food industry.
As you can see the main image is the "Llama" a typical animal from my birth country Peru. I plan to sell baked, frozen food and/or if it doesnt work turn the name into a restaurant.
The way I picture the logo somehow has to have the llama included. Being by a shadow, actual picture or somehow included in the logo. I consider it part of the branding.
The logo has to be catchy and approach individuals same as families while being elegant and keeping it modern.
In regards of colours I am trying to keep it somehow simple due minimize cost (since its my very first project as an entrepreneur). was thinking on Black and somehow add the turquoise color. I am open to ideas and options.
If I would choose few words to identify the company logo would be
