Logo Design Brief

You'll be revising a logo for the App and website "Wedding Cake Wizard." It's an phone App and website that brings brides and bakers together by allowing brides to upload photos of desired wedding cakes and then having bakers give their best prices. (The app and website have been taken off-line during this redesign phase.)

I have uploaded a new concept we have developed to help you understand the direction we would like to go. Instead of a traditional wedding cake feel, we would like a more whimisical, playful and fun concept.

In fact, the logo I have uploaded is good enough to use as is. However, I would like to challenge you to come up with even a better design. If you believe you can improve the uploaded design, please submit it. We would love to use it .

Requirements

Must have

• 1) The logo must remain simple, clean and slightly bold as seen in the uploaded image.
• 2) You must use 2 different font styles. The words "wedding cake" should be one style, the word "wizard" needs to be a separate style. It needs to stand out. You can even keep the current font for the words wedding cake and find another font to use for the word wizard or visa-versa.
• 3) The image of the cake needs to remain the same including the dollar sign on top, unless you can come up with something better. Keep in mind, you can change the boldness of the lines and change the shape of the cake and keep the swirl design on the cake the same.
• 4) It needs to have a slightly wizard feel without it being too much.

Nice to have

• 1) Both vertical and horizontal logos. So, they can be used on the phone app and the website header.

Should not have

• Do not use any traditional wedding font styles.
• Do not change the design on the cake, unless you have a better idea.
