Logo Design Brief

Want a logo design for a small business I am starting for myself, RTRES Consulting (pronounced R TRES Consulting where the RT are my initials and RES stands for Research, Evaluation and Statistical). My ideal services would be to support program evaluation for (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) STEM educational and workforce development programs, and I am using the following tag line: Helping STEM programs grow through data-driven evidence. I've sketched out a logo design where the T is some sort of tree to support my tag line. My first name is Robin, so I've considered incorporating a small robin bird into the logo, but realize that may be too much. I have attached my copy and paste attempts at what my idea kind of is, but need expert help (obviously). I toyed with the leaves of the T being symbols affiliated with STEM, but had no way of really making that work. While I like the idea of the T being a tree idea, I am open to other ways to "logo"/brand myself.
