Logo Design Brief

I'm founding a small group based on the study and practice of analytic philosophy. I'd like there to be a sense of group identity around a common mission (the pursuit of self-improvement and self-understanding in service of the truth), and want a there to be unifying emblem for the group that we can use on papers, posters, etc. In thinking about the emblem, I've been most drawn to designs from sacred geometry, which I like because it is both principled and beautiful. I'm open to other designs that evoke the philosophical spirit.
