Logo Design Brief
We are a small auto repair shop in Iowa that has received multiple national, and recently, international awards for small business. We need a smart, professional adjustment to our current logo that allows us to use it on both light and dark backgrounds. We're due for an adjustment to the logo after 11 years, however, it carries a certain amount of brand recognition within our community, and we want to have something people will still recognize as our company. The 4/40 represents our warranty, and was designed to start conversations at networking events by placing it near the tree in a contrasting color. This has seemed to work well as people often introduce themselves by saying "what does the 4/40 stand for?" While we would like a professional look, it still need to be easily adjusted to use as an embroidered piece on clothing. Must be scale-able to work in a 1:1 ratio box.
Target Market(s)
25-65 year-olds, working families with dual, white-collar income, families with children between 5 and 15 years old. Smart people, but not necessarily sophisticated. People that appreciate value over lower prices
