Logo Design Brief
We are launching a new brand of dance products - En Pointe Dancewear - which will offer dance apparel, tights, dance shoes, training tools, and other dance accessories. We need a new logo, to include the words En Pointe (not Dancewear), along with some other dance-related design element. This could be a ballet dancer, a pointe shoe (or shoes), ballet ribbon, etc.
The additional design element should not be overly generic. Some images are enclosed that may be helpful (I pulled these off Google. Please do not copy, and be respectful of their respective design owners, etc.)

Thank you for the submissions thus far. I wanted to let everyone know that we have decided to "guarantee" this project and will definitely be selecting a final design and paying out the winning designer.
The bulk of my feedback thus far has related to the uniqueness and authenticity of the designs. We do not want a logo that has a generic dancer, or a generic pair of pointe shoes, etc. While they do directly relate to our industry, we feel that if the logo is too generic it won't be long-lasting. We want a logo that is unique and won't become uninteresting too soon. Some of the design concepts are accomplishing this - incorporating a dance-related design element in an interesting and unique way. These are what we are looking for.
Also, some of the logos have incorporated a design element that just isn't realistic or authentic - a pair of pointe shoes that are out of proportion, or a dancer with a misshapen body or unrealistic body position. Our target market includes serious dancers, and they will view the dance elements in the logo with a critical eye. If it doesn't look like an authentic and accurate dance product or an authentic body position they will be turned off by it.
I hope this helps. We have been impressed by the talent we've found already which is why we decided to guarantee the project. Thank you for the submissions thus far and we look forward to seeing more.
