Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for the Curling World Championships 2019, hosted in Silkeborg, Denmark. The logo needs to use the framework set by the international Curling Federation (attached) and reflect both the sport and the host city/country in the main graphic expression. Visit www.silkeborg.com for inspiration on the area.

NOTE: There is no Title sponsor at this time, so no need to adapt colors or include other logos.

Logo needs to be delivered in .ai or .eps

Requirements

Must have

• Must be loyal to the framework of the World Curling Federation.
• The font is Gill Sans Bold

Nice to have

• It would be great to somehow combine the Danish flag, elements from the sport (a player, a stone, the circles of the target area etc.) and the characteristic scenery and landscape of Silkeborg and the lake district surrounding the city (lakes, forests, hills).
• If it becomes too complex visually with all three design elements, then any combination of two will do

Should not have

• Please note that it is the Women's World Championships, so no male players, please :)
