Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our rebranding. We are a husband and wife residential real estate team based in Toronto, Canada. We are changing our name to "The Rebecca Kopel Team" and our team is under the Royal LePage umbrella. We sell houses in the Greater Toronto Area. The logo might be black or grey and red and in my mind I am thinking that it is a letter K with a 'roof' on top which might make the K look also like an R. However, we are open to ideas.
