Logo Design Brief

I have an old family crest. I need this brought back to life. I don't want the design to include any stock items or cartoon-like images. The original crest or coat of arms needs to be copied essentially but done in a way which enhances the crest and which increases its appeal and resolution such that it can be used in a modern logo. Attention to detail is important, the shape of the helmet, the design of the helmet, the three wheat stalks and the shield with the rune are all important elements with specific meanings. The feathers can be slightly amended or altered if necessary. A design in natural black/white, greys etc is good, if colour is required then the theme of black, white and red is used.

Requirements

Must have

• Attention to detail is important, the shape of the helmet, the design of the helmet, the three wheat stalks and the shield with the rune are all important elements with specific meanings. The feathers can be slightly amended or altered if necessary. A design in natural black/white, greys etc is good, if colour is required then the theme of black, white and red is used.
• I have uploaded two logos, the one that needs replicating is the one with the black shield and white rune. I have added the second (older) crest as this has a nice old 'klovekorn' font which shows how its written.

Nice to have

• The family name under the crest. The family name is Klovekorn, it has two dotts over the first 'o' (German umlaut). Prefer a fraktur type old german type font or similar.

Should not have

• just any old stock helmet - this helmet is unique and needs to be replicated.
