Logo Design Brief

We need the imagery for our cafe/wine bar. We are about artisan small producers, using relationship based sourcing for our wines and produce. We take coffee and specialty coffee sourcing very seriously.
Ultimately, we want the feel of a winery cellar door in the suburbs.
Owned and run by a national wine show judge and passionate wine and coffee lover, and also by a serious baker of breads, cakes and desserts as well as fresh salads and whole foods meals.
Focus on using the best local roasters of single origin coffees, using contacts to offer a unique and very popular contemporary list of modern wine finds as well as the classics. Topped off with a brief yet daily changing menu using the best daily finds of the season and ingredients sourced from high caliber producers we know and trust.

Must have

• A simple sans serif clean font
• Uncluttered simplicity that works well both round/square in shape and easily adapted to being portrayed as a strip such as along a shop front as signage.

Nice to have

• Clean and up to date traditional cues. High quality cues. Artisanal and fresh cues.
• Burgundy or crimson preferred but not obligatory as a leading or secondary colour.

Should not have

• No corporate looking imagery please.
• Busy, hard to clearly read font or themes.
• Poorly adaptable to being portrayed as a strip.
