Web Design Brief
We are a small, fresh pasta business called The Pasta Queen located in suburbs of Sacramento, CA. We sell our pasta, ravioli, meatballs and sauce at farmer's markets, events, and soon in our café & marketplace. (Jan 2014) . We also provide catering services. The site needs to communicate FRESH, local, no preservatives, artisan quality pasta. We offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free products as well.
We would like a web site using our logos and colors to feature what we do, and where people can come buy it. A page to our standard take and make items/menu, our seasonal take and make menu, our catering menu, our new hot food café menu.
We want a page that we can update with "Where can you find The Pasta Queen"
A "specials page" and a page they can order from that they choose the location to pick it up or in the delivery area we deliver to them.
A page with photo's and referrals, testimony, comments, about us, etc. Maybe a page for recipes.
We need to update the events/find us page all the time, weekly, so it needs to be easy for us to go in and do that. We are Window's (not MAC) users if that makes a difference or not, not sure.
Ideally, the same person(s) that make the website would also do a separate project creating our catering and hot food menu brochure/layout and recipe cards

I would like to see the landing page have the pasta shapes/sizes element that is found in the refrigerator wrap, the wrap on the trailer, and the menu - see photo and
uploads. It's used as a banner or as a background, bright green.

Would like visitors to be able to "like" me or follow me from my web page. A button or a link?

Really like the layout of this site. More grocery oriented than café, but we are a take and make marketplace as well as a Panini salads and hot pasta menu for lunch.

Please add Café + Marketplace to headers. Our logo is good but we are now adding a café element and a fresh marketplace, se we need to communicate what we are/what we do. We think adding Café + Marketplace as a descriptor will help. Any ideas, feel free to put your own spin on it. Thank you!!
The designs are good...thanks to everyone!
