Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Mali in Bamako, a perfumery called Soumaby. It is the first Malian perfumery (except for duty free). The idea is to expand this perfume to create a chain (franchise) throughout West Africa. We have in mind a fairly clean logo that inspires luxury and fragrance. We will also ask you for a sign (inspiration on big brands like Marionnaud, Zipporah etc) or do something totally innovative with always the same spirit. You will also find attached 2 logos that we had already proposed (both in the form of Africa) but we find a little crude, cold but we still find that there is the idea . We would also eventually need business cards. We have not yet established a graphic chart so the choice of colors remains completely free as long as it inspires elegance, class and is attractive. (black / golden, white / golden for example) For information, in Bambara, souma means smell and by means today, or "scents of today".
