Logo Design Brief
I need a logo for a sign which will need to meet code requirements for the City. The logo will be the sign and must conform with the style of the building (photo attached) The logo will also be used for literature, promotionals, flyers, ads, leases etc. The building is located in a tourist beach town and two blocks away from the main downtown area known for night life, restaurants, parades etc. It is a fun town and has much new construction with luxury apartments and upscale designs. Our building is older and very basic - (aesthetically unappealing). We'd like to figure out a way to create a logo/sign that represents the city well with beachy colors BUT that also fits in with the design of the older style building. Home Sweet Home is the main verbage and we would like to use "of Delray" in smaller type, similar to a tagline.
The logo must be professional but with a flair of fun and happy feeling. No bright, gaudy colors, illustrations, etc. I will need one version of the logo to have the numbers 211 which will be used for the street sign.
