Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a small law firm called Northwest Resource Law. We are a Seattle-based law firm that represents business owners with permitting issues and claims brought under environmental laws. We would like the logo to be clean, modern, and strong, and also represent our focus on natural resources (water, fish, trees, etc.). We hope to expand to other cities in the Northwest, so we would like the focus to be more on the Pacific Northwest generally rather than Seattle specifically. We like blues and silver/gray.

Must have

• A logo that is strong and modern but incorporates our focus on natural resource law (fish, water, trees)

Nice to have

• It would be nice to have something in addition to just text, as long as that "extra something" was very simple and clean.

Should not have

• Anything specifically related to Seattle (e.g. Space Needle) and should not have any pictures of fish, trees, or streams. We represent business owners, not conservationists.
