Logo Design Brief

Rent the Outdoors

Our mission is to help more people access the outdoors. We've personally spent months researching the right equipment, learning how to use it, gone on a huge backcountry backpacking adventure and then watched our amazing gear sit unused in the closet for months at a time. We really wish there was a way to rent everything you need for a backpacking trip, have it shipped to your door ready to go on an adventure, have that adventure and then be able to drop it in the mail to return it.

That's where CampRents.com comes in.

We'll ask you just three simple questions:
1) Where are you going?
2) When?
3) What are your measurements?

Then within a week, there will be a fully packed backpack at your door ready for your adventure. Everything you need to go camping, backpacking or to a music festival. Just add clothes, food and go.

Through our charity, Pack for Pack, we're also donating one free pack rental for every rental that goes out through our site. We hope this helps inner city kids and underprivileged areas access the same outdoors adventures we know and love.

Our design:
We want to play off of the boy scout and girl scout "patches" idea but we're open to other options.

We'd like a logo that works well in black and white. We also like to have a mark if we can.

We're based out of Northeast Ohio so incorporating features from this area is a bonus. Look up "Whipp's Ledges" in Cleveland or "Hocking Hills, OH" for inspiration.

We're going to be printing this on patches we will attach to our rental gear and for all other company uses such as website, letterhead, posters, advertising, etc.

We're interested in working with a designer that can provide a full brand design suite if we find a style we really love.

Target Market(s)

Newbie campers or campers that don't have the space/money for the right camping equipment. Most likely ages 18-45
