Logo Design Brief

I do not need a new logo but I have a logo that needs little modifications done to it. Versions in different colours. Smoother look, Different proportions. I Like this logo so just a slight Variations would be accepted. I would like to make the the shield a better gold colour and a lighter grey.
I will need the logo in all white versions and all black versions
I will need a transparent version of the Logo.
Typeface could be slightly varied.
The width of the border line doesn't seem to be the same all the way round.
This is an australian Football(Soccer) academy.
A version with our the shading or colour gradient.
