I need a logo for a publishing house called Process Century Press, tagline: Another Way is Possible. Need 3 versions, all with transparent background: one for book spine without tagline; one for marketing materials (print and online) with tagline; one as icon.
It's an academic press, and will publish books in philosophy, religion, politics, economics, theology, and physics, all from the perspective of something called process philosophy, based on the work of Alfred North Whitehead.
The press reflects a philosophy of movement, interconnection, a cosmology of events. Design must be clean, dynamic, reaching forward to the future.
I tried something with a stylized wave in the shape of of "P" for first letter, but don't have the skill to do it. Attached below, just as a sample idea.
This press will publish books leading up to and coming out of a 2015 environmental conference with keynoters Bill McKibben and Vandana Shiva. The conference is the capstone project of philosopher/theologian John B. Cobb, Jr., who has argued for decades that to avert planetary disaster, we must fundamentally change the way we view the world.
