Logo Design Brief
I want a logo designed for a business based in Australia. I am a web developer, web hosting provider and app/plugin developer. Hive represents busy working and bytes represents computer bytes/data. I want the logo to have a icon with with text. The icon to be of a hive with some of the hive closed and some open to represent binary 0 and 1 or on and off. It is important it is not a to detailed logo. Hivebytes should be one word and have a capitol H and the rest should lowercase. The icon and or logo when reduced in size should still look good. The icon should be able to be used separate from the text if I wish to just use the icon on its own and not be joined to the text with its design. Colours a typical hive yellow and black. Please see quick mock up that I have done to get an idea for the feel and style that I want. I would like ether the font used sent with the eps, ai files or at least know what the font is called that was used so that I can use this font to keep the theme through out other marketing materials. Want to be able to use the logo in black and white sometimes so that I can use the logo on backgrounds and it still stands out.
