Graphic Design Brief
We need beer can label ideas for 4 different types of beer that we are producing. The 4 names and info required for each beer are as follows:
1. PBIPA. 6.0% ABV. 40 IBU. Strong Ale / Ale Forte. Indian Pale Ale
2. EqWitty Orange. 5.0% ABV. 10 IBU. Ale / Ale. Belgian Witbier. Brewed with Citrus peels and coriander
3. Ghost Pale Ale 5.2% ABV. 30 IBU. Ale / Biere. Honey Rye Ale
4. Orkney Bay 3.2% ABV. 13 IBU. Light Ale / Ale Leger. Brown Ale
We would like to include our brewery name/logo "Prairie Brewing Company" on each of the can lables.
A bit of background:
PBIPA is an acronym of our company name with a bit of play on the local school "Prairie Bible Institute" which most locals enjoy as their is some humor in a beer named after a bible school.
The last 3 names are after each of the communities that each of the 3 owners grew up at. Equitty, Ghost Pine and Orkney.
Equitty is recognized by a large grain elevator witin the area.
Ghost Phine is recognized by a creek and ball diamonds.
Orkney is recognized by the blerriot ferry, badlands/hoodos.
One thing each community has in common is the fact that all 3 are farming communities.
We are packaging utilizing standard 355ml cans so the graphic design must fit on a 7.375" x 3.125".
I will attach our logo as well as some of our current ideas/graphics for reference or use.
