Packaging Design Brief
Tipsy Penguin, a Gibraltar-based start-up, will offer alcoholic ice popsicles, in the form of calyppos from spring 2018 in Gibraltar and Spain.
Target audience are mainly tourists from Northern Europe (UK, Nordics, Benelux, Germany) and the products should be both in English and Spanish. We want to be associated with summer, fun, party and alcohol. Product is for 18+ only.
Exact ingredients in English and Spanish will be provided at a later stage to the winning packaging.
We have recently successfully found a logo through this website and would like to now get the packaging for our 4 different flavours.
The idea is to replicate the main design across the various flavours. A penguin is to be featured on each product, dressed up in the associated national costume/outfit. The background colours should change, and the ingredients.
4 flavours and associated names are:
1. Mojito "El Cubano"
- Penguin outfit: Che Guevarra
- Background colours: Green, white
- Ingredients: Mint, lime
2. G&T (Gin &Tonic) "The Brit"
- Penguin outfit: London Queen’s horseguard
- Background colours: Red, blue, white
- Ingredients: Instead of ingredients, we want Big Ben and London Taxis
3. Pina Colada "La Latina"
- Penguin outfit: Caribbean Carnival
- Background colours: Yellow, white
- Ingredients: Pineapple, coconut
4. Sangria "El Espanol"
- Penguin outfit: Spanish corrida torreador
- Background colours: Yellow, Red
- Ingredients: Pomegranate, orange, apple
The top of the product should feature the logo and the line (circling around the edge) "No Penguins were harmed in the making of this cocktail"
A sketch (for mojito) has been provided in the attached documents, alongside the logo.
