Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book and Game store located just outside of Seattle. The inspiration for the name of the store is from Norse mythology: Odin's ravens Hugin and Munin who loosely symbolize thought and memory. The logo will need to be usable on the web in display advertising, on t-shirts and other retail merchandise, as well as on store signage.

Target Market(s)

The store is targeting hipster nerd culture as well. People that like Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, or The Hunger Games as well as board/card game players that like Magic: The Gathering or Cards Against Humanity.

• Design must be scalable for both large as small formats (usable for signs as well as small display ads that are readable on mobile phones).

Nice to have

• I would like to incorporate a norse mythology theme as long as it does not detract from the clarity of the design.

Should not have

• Fancy fonts that are hard to read when small.
