Web Design Brief

I need to take the elements of a DesignCrowd website that was started some time ago but never went live with a website that I now have that is not very compelling. I publish a digital magazine through joomag.com and link the magazine to www.marinartsandculture.com. Boring website.

The DesignCrowd website is: www.marinartsandentertainment.com. A lively website which is now too narrow in scope. I seek to expand my coverage to include the cultural life of my county.

Here's what I'd like to do.
1. Rename the DesignCrowd website using my url: www.marinartsandculture.com.
2. Use my marinartsandculture logo, replacing marinartsandentertainment.com
3. Break up the large rotating banner on the top into two spaces??? I want to feature my current magazine as the first placement. The space is too wide? Suggestions here appreciated. I also want back issues to be available for viewing.
4. I need flexibility to change headings, etc, so instruction needs to come with the design.
5. I'm thinking of offering blog space to others.

General question. Rather than moving everything over to www.marinartsandentertainment.com, should we just redesign www.marinartsandculture.com using the elements on the www.marinartsandentertainment.com site? Might be an easier way to go.

I'm open to a complete redesign of www.marinartsandculture.com with the exception of the logo and the spotlight on the magazines, both current and past issues.

I am in the middle of producing the next issue, so the website needs to not change until mid October. I'd like the design to be complete beforehand so we can make the change pretty quickly after the 15th of October.

I've attached covers of our last 2 issues and my logo. I'm open to a change in color with the logo, but not the fonts.

I'm not sure how many pages I'll need and I don't know the difference between coded and uncoded pages...so you can explain to me.
