Logo Design Brief

I've started-up a small oil & gas supply chain consult business names "Rockyspring Ltd.", and need a logo for business cards, email signature, letterhead, and website.

I've roughly envisioned a logo with a mountain, with a river running down it....I've tried to sketch - but am definitely not artistic enough.

Some things:

- limited colors - blue, black, and / or red
- Professional, serious
- strong logo
- Pictoral / Combination Logo - picture possibly faded underneath text?
