Logo Design Brief

We are a clothing brand that is looking to target men specifically, while not alienating women. We would like a logo of a double headed eagle, that is flat, conservative and simple, yet fierce and bold with some distinct characteristics. The logo will be used as a patch on our clothing (polos, watches, hats, etc.) similar to that of the Lacoste alligator, so we would like a white border. We would like to use black as the base color but incorporate a gold crown between the two heads. We have a logo already, but need to improve upon it.
