Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design that encompasses our basic principles of sharing trauma-sensitive yoga with people who have experienced trauma and are looking to find safety in their body. This practice involves individualizing yoga for the needs of the survivor of trauma and minimizing triggers that can bring the client back into their trauma. Those principles include the acronym for "Space": Safe, Predictable, Accessible, Controlled Environment. The principles do not need to be included with the logo. Our organizations work will involve offering workshops and trainings to new and veteran yoga teachers in order to create trauma-informed yoga classes, and offer individual and group yoga sessions for survivors of physical/sexual abuse and neglect.

Target Market(s)

Service providers (ie therapists, other non-profits, support groups, caregivers, etc) in mental health and wellness; survivors seeking treatment from trauma-related symptoms. No age/gender/cultural specifications; looking to appeal to organizations serving children, refugees/immigrant populations

Requirements

Must have

• Review photo update. I would like to have a larger tan/gold brushstroke circle (not quite as "swirly" as the one in the picture, but more like a clearer beginning and end of the circle) with two long, thin letter "s" in the center. Black simple font with "Safe Space Yoga Project" underneath.

Nice to have

• can include grayscale; I am inspired by "Africa Yoga Project" logo;

Should not have

• Should not have traditional yoga industry marks ie lotus flower, no silhouette of body in yoga posture
