Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company called "Mountain View Cruises".The company owns a 67'boat that looks similar to a houseboat, with a enclosed lower deck and open-air upper deck.We will offer dinner cruises, sightseeing cruises and private charters onboard. The boat will operate from a lake in TN, just miles from the Smoky Mountains. The natural beauty of the area is what brings people here to live or vacation. This is not a fancy yacht, our boat will have a relaxed atmosphere. The logo we thought should be simple, professional and somehow relate to mountains & water. Other Ideas are welcomed.

Target Market(s)

Adults and children of all ages, either locals or familys on vacation.

Must have

• -have two to three colors.(the boat is white with blue-
  gray trim)
  -Contain the words "Mountain View Cruises"
  -The overall Height of logo should be 1/3 of the lenghth to have the correct proportions for the boat.
  -Simple, professional and unique design.
  -Can be used on T-shirts,business cards, brochures and web-site.

Nice to have

• -The logo can be somewhat abstact to represent mountains and water.
  -The logo can have a nautical theme if unique.
  -Open to anything creative.

Should not have

• -Should not use the shape of a sleek, fancy yaght.
