Logo Design Brief

This is for a genomics startup company. The logo must look professional and convey feelings of trustworthiness, reputability and dependability. The name is a combination of the words "genome" and "medicine" and it would be nice if the colourscheme could represent this (e.g. the "genom" part being one colour, the "d" being another colour and the "me" being a mix of the two colours).
