Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new company. The company offers financial advisory services to small and mid sized businesses, i.e. consulting company / investment bank. I want to project a high level of credibility and professionalism using classic colors such as navy blue and gray. The logo should not be fussy, rather elegant and crisp. I would like to see something derived from the "Gate" reference in the name. As an example, perhaps a small portion of a fence on the left with rising fence posts (communicating business growth as in a bar chart) and then the company name acting as the actual gate (and perhaps another vertical fence post on the other side of the name. I would like "Lancaster Gate" to appear in a darker color and "Advisors" to be in a lighter color. I do not want there to be more than three colors maximum in the logo. I like the Copperplate Gothic font but am willing to consider alternatives. I would also like to be able to take a smaller portion of the logo and use it in other collateral.
