My company is an advisory company that helps people make better career decisions, by getting an understanding of what people actually do all day in their day to day jobs. A secondary part of the company also provides "consulting" in sales and marketing.
I will be interviewing people in all sorts of jobs to find out the following:
How did they decide to work in the field they do,
What experiences they had that led them to the job they have,
What they studied in school / university,
If they use what they learned in school,
How they approached getting their job,
And how they actually spend their time in their job.
These interviews will be useful for high school and college kids to give them a window into what they might like to do for a living and provide guidance as to what schools they should apply to, what courses to take, etc.
A second division of the company also provides "consulting" in sales and marketing. Companies in any vertical industry in the business to business sales and marketing are the target companies. The target audience can further be defined as sales managers, VP sales, marketing managers, VP marketing, etc.
